UNI.MINDS 2023 – Science and Innovation Festival
We invite you to the largest Slovenian festival for building an innovation community, which will take place from 16 to 25 October 2023.
Registrations for the events are now open!
Summary of the programme:
→ The opening event at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana will focus on sustainability and non-technological innovations, and will include a tour of the Faculty’s new laboratories for the study of human behavior and financial information.
→ We have organised a bus trip to the coast, where we will visit the Port of Koper d.d. and InnoRenew, their challenges and innovative solutions.
→ Lek Researchers’ Day and L2M: Deep Tech Demo Day will take place at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of UL, where you will also have the opportunity to visit the Infrastructure Centre of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of UL.
→ We will take you by bus to visit Lek d.d and Paradajz d.o.o – LUŠT and the University of Maribor.
→ At the Faculty of Pharmacy of UL, William Douglas Figg, Sr, PharmD, MBA will give us an insight into how to do business in academia.
→ We will visit the production facilities of Iskra d.d. and Novartis d.o.o., where we will take you in our bus.
→ We will conclude in Ljubljana at the AGRFT with the award ceremony of the Rector’s Prize for the best innovation.

The UNI.MINDS Festival is held in the scope of “Science Month“, supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport. The main organisers of the festival are the Knowledge Transfer Office of the University of Ljubljana, the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office of the University of Maribor and the Centre for Knowledge Development and Transfer of the University of Primorska, as well as the public agency SPIRIT Slovenia. The main partners of the festival are Lek, d.d., a Sandoz company, the Ljubljana University Incubator and Novartis d.o.o.
