Presenting the full package of current opportunities to develop your idea!

The University of Ljubljana actively supports the protection of intellectual property generated within its UL members and the further development of technologies to market success.

Here are 4 current opportunities offered by the UL Knowledge Transfer Office in collaboration with partners to support the further development of your technologies and solutions:

INNOVATION FUND UL
The UL Innovation Fund is for UL researchers who have a technology or solution to an already identified challenge but are missing a step or two to bring it closer to reality.

You are welcome to join us for any questions about the application process at the online info day on 16 June.

COMMERCIALISATION REACTOR
Commercialisation Reactor is an international platform for the commercialization of science, working to establish international science-based start-ups.

The project is already making successful stories, as the platform has contributed greatly to the success of the UL spin-off company, Elogium Probiotics, which also includes researchers from the Faculty of Biotechnology at UL.

RECTOR’S AWARD
The Rector’s Award is a prestigious traditional competition that has been running for 12 years and is a great incentive for students and employees of the University of Ljubljana to take their technological and non-technological innovations to the market and commercialize their idea.

Applications open until: 17 September 2023

HUD CALL

Under the Rector’s Award, the HUD category is open to 1st and 2nd-cycle students with ideas, solutions, and innovations for societal challenges.
